The health and safety of each of our dogs are very important to us.

All dogs must have current vaccinations for the following:

-Rabies

-DHPP/DA2PP

-Bordetella -Negative Fecal Exam (for puppies 6 months or younger only) We also highly recommend vaccinating against:

-Canine Influenza H3N2/H3N8

-Leptospirosis

Certification from a veterinarian is required from each of our guests before admittance can be allowed. If your dog requires an updated vaccination please make arrangements for the vaccination to be administered no less than 2 weeks before any service is scheduled. Your dog must also be on a heartworm & flea and tick preventative.

Yes, we require reservations for daycare, boarding, and all of our services. You can book easily through our app, or give us a call.

Yes! We have a large outdoor play-space. All pups are given frequent access to the outdoors throughout the day. No need to worry about housebreaking being interrupted!

All of the dogs at Opie's Outpost are carefully pre-screened by experienced professionals, supervised by our in-house trainer. Dogs are never left alone, even during overnight stays.

We are happy to administer medication for no additional fee.

Yes! In fact, we very much prefer for you to bring your pup's own food if they are boarding or need to be fed during daycare.

In the extremely rare event that a dog falls ill or is injured, we let you know immediately, and seek appropriate veterinary care if necessary. Our staff is trained in canine CPR and always prioritizes your pup's health and safety.

Please bring enough of your dog’s food to last their stay, plus one extra day. We provide a full selection of bedding, bowls, toys and treats. If there is something you’d like to bring from home to make your pup more comfortable you are welcome to do so. And of course bring any medications that your pup requires.

The doggie daycare is cage-free during the day. We ofter optional overnight crating during boarding for dogs that prefer a crated sleep. If your dog prefers to snuggle, we're happy to offer cage-free overnights as well - fully supervised by our on-site staff (yes, they spend the night!).

Yes! We are on-site in-person whenever we have overnight boarders. We offer fully supervised cage-free overnights for pups that prefer not to be crated at night. we also offer comfy crates for dogs that prefer a cozy den.
